This Issue's Opinion Networking - As Important in the Art World as in Any Work Arena Networking is important to artists, as well as buyers of art. You network everytime you do a search on the Internet, and look for information. When you contact people to see if they eaht you ewant,, or if they can help you with the project in which you are involved, you are networking. When you send a e-mail, looking for specific information, and are referred to another source, with via a link on the page you visited or by a reference recived in a e-mail response, you are in the networking paradigm. That being said, cowboyartshow.com wants to try a project. At the present time, I receive quite a bit of inquiries about art and artists from site visitors corresponding re: the information request pages. This is one form of networking, since the requests are posted for all to see and respond. Now, I'm looking for general comments about art - it's place in today's world, for instance, or you may want to let us know about things which vex you, or anyhting elase of interest. This is close to bloging, and all mail will be posted, in categories, along with replies. cowboyartshow.com visitors seem a fairly intelligent lot, so we look forward to hearing from you. Just make sure to include a viable e-mail address. And you don't have to use your actual name, if you do not wish to do so; however, this forum is monitored, so keep your writings on a plane higher than the gutter. And speaking of blogs, I have new one you can read here. All comments will be posted. Joe Chernicoff, CPA Exec. Director
