New beginning in 2007 Changes in the Wind This issue is the last in the current format for Cowboy Photpgraphers & Artists newsletter. Beginning in January, CP&A will be available as an RSS feed/.xml file; as a podcast and it will also be available as a web page. RSS feeds provide a much better way for you to receive information. Podcasts are designed for the Ipod as well as your desktop, and provide broadcasted information whenever that material is ready for publication - that information is sent as headlines, with content information, so that you can read what interests you. Click here for a definition of RSS. RSS readers or aggregators are plentiful, and are free. An example of one used here is found at RSS Reader. As mentioned before, podcasts, including audio and video broadcasts, are available through the RSS feeds. Another valuable player for audio and video playback is VLC media player, a no cost player/streamer which plays just about every media format. CP&A will be podcasting both streaming audio and streaming video in some issues beginning in 2007, so the above tols will help enhance your enjoyment of the newsletter. For examples of an RSS audio security information podcast feed, click on the following links: If you have any questions, don't hesiate to contact me at the e-mail address listed in the title paragraph of the newsletter.
